ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Northern State University Wrestling program and Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) are joining forces to promote the Bob Courtney Make-A-Wish Foundation Cancer Awareness Night, Thursday, February 4th during Northern State’s wrestling dual with Dickinson State.

The event will be sponsored by Pearson Ford and EZ Stop, and all proceeds (gate, concessions, and other donations) will go to the local Make-A-Wish Foundation.

SAAC will also be donating their “Northern Nation” t-shirt sale proceeds towards the cause and will have them on sale at the dual.  Cost of the shirts are $15 apiece.

Each team at Northern State will be collecting free will donations in their SAAC “Sacks” during the wrestling meet.

Northern State will have a recognition for former Residence Life director Bob Courtney during the midway point of the dual.

The dual will also have free hot dogs while they last, so get there early and come support this great cause!

Northern State University is an NCAA Division II affiliated school participating in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and is located in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
