WOMEN'S FINAL RESULTS

WAYNE, Neb. - Northern State's Jake Hamik won a title in the 400m Dash (48.40s) and set a new NSIC record in the 400m hurdles (52.60s) on Saturday at the NSIC Track & Field Championships.  He also reached an NCAA provisional time in the 110m hurdles (14.57s) for took second place and was a member of the winning 4x400m relay team.  Hamik has been declared the NSIC Men's Track Athlete of the Year and was the highest point performer at the Championships.  This is the fifth NSIC Athlete of the Year award for Hamik.  The NSU men took third place, while the women took sixth.
 
Bill Cameron reached an NCAA provisional time in 400m hurdles (52.94s) for third place and also tood third in the 110m hurdles (14.79s).  Lance York took third in the shot put with a throw of 46 feet, 10.25 inches.
 
The Wolves won the 4x400m relay title with a time of 3:27.55 (Taylor Ford, Ryan Conrad, Cameron and Hamik).  The NSU 4x100m  relay team placed second with a time of 42.64s, comprised of Jeremy Beulah, Calvin McGruder, Jared Mack and Hamik.
 
Jenny Baus had the most success on the women's side in the NSIC Championships.  She took second place in the 1500m run with a time of 4:46.58 and finished in third place in the 800m run with a mark of 2:22.17.
