Jordan King
Men's Basketball
Jordan King (G, 6-0, 180, Jr., Arlington, S.D./Arlington HS) led an NSU comeback effort against the University of Mary with a career-high 16 points on Saturday despite playing just 17 minutes of the game.  King drained four of eight 3-point attempts, including several late treys to keep the Wolves in contention.  He was also a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line while dishing out five assists and coming up with one of the team’s three steals.


Emily Becken
Women's Basketball
Emily  Becken notched her first double-double of the season with a 17-point, 11-assist effort in the Wolves' 76-65 win over the University of Mary.  Becken was one of four Wolves in double figures in scoring and one of three players to notch a double-double, marking the first time that has happened this season.  NSU has now won four straight games.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Augustana College wrestling team overcame a strong Northern State start on Saturday evening and rallied to take a 21-12 win.  The Wolves are now 8-7 on the year.  They face their final regular season opponent on Wednesday evening in an NSIC matchup with the University of Mary.

The Wolves started the dual against the Vikings with two strong wins.  Phillip Downs took a 6-2 decision over Matt Morris at 165-lbs, leading the entire way.  Donnie Bowden (174-lb.) put the Wolves up 9-0 by pinning his opponent at the 2:34 mark.  From there, the Vikings took two tight decisions to narrow the margin to 9-6.  Lance Peters (285-lb.) tied the score up at 9-9 with a 4-1 win over Jared LittleCorbin Surat got down early in the 125-lb. match, but rebounded to take a 6-3 win and give the Wolves the 12-9 lead.

Decisions in the final four weight classes all went to Augustana College.  Two matches (133-lb., 149-lb.) were decided by scores of 10-3, while David Schiley suffered an uncommon loss at the 141-lb. class, giving up a close 6-4 score.  The Vikings took the match with a final score of 21-12.
