Senior "Kit" Grace recorded her fourth-straight shutout and junior Aleasha DeVaney recorded the game's lone assist in the Wolves' 1-0 victory.
Catherine "Saving" Grace Posts Fourth-Straight Shutout on Senior Day
ABERDEEN, S.D. – For Northern State senior goalkeeper Catherine “Kit” Grace, Senior Day proved to be not the busiest of her career.  The lone graduating senior on the Wolves team saw just one shot on goal in 90 minutes of action, and only three total shots while the Wolves emerged through a defensive battle with a 1-0 victory over Concordia University-St. Paul Saturday at Jerde Field.

A late goal in the second period by freshman Kaylee McDonald at the 82:29 mark proved to be the winning score as the Wolves out-shot the Golden Bears 25-3, including 13-1 on goal.  Grace ended the day with a shutout, her fourth straight, and one save.  The Wolves have now not allowed a goal in 461 minutes and 35 seconds, the last goal coming against MSU-Moorhead in the first-half of their game on October 11th, four and a half games ago.

McDonald’s goal was her 11th of the season, which leads the team, and also puts her in the team lead for total points with 23 total points.  Aleasha DeVaney is credited with the assist on McDonald’s goal.
