Jordan King

Men's Basketball

Jordan King (G, 6-0, 180, Jr., Arlington, S.D./Arlington HS) led an NSU comeback effort against the University of Mary with a career-high 16 points on Saturday despite playing just 17 minutes of the game. King drained four of eight 3-point attempts, including several late treys to keep the Wolves in contention. He was also a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line while dishing out five assists and coming up with one of the team’s three steals.

Emily Becken

Women's Basketball

Emily Becken notched her first double-double of the season with a 17-point, 11-assist effort in the Wolves' 76-65 win over the University of Mary. Becken was one of four Wolves in double figures in scoring and one of three players to notch a double-double, marking the first time that has happened this season. NSU has now won four straight games.

#9 Huskies shut out Wolves 44-0

ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Northern State University wrestling team, already down two wrestlers due to injury, ran into a seasoned St. Cloud State Huskies squad Saturday and failed to record a win on the night in losing 44-0.


	#11 Blue Hawks pin Wolves 31-9 02.04 \| Wrestling ABERDEEN, S.D. - The Northern State University wrestling team came upon injuries and inconsistency around the edge of the mat in losing to the visiting #11 NAIA ranked Dickinson State Blue Hawks Thursday in Aberdeen, S.D. by a 31-9 score.


	Wolves to Hold Cancer Awareness Night 02.02 \| Wrestling ABERDEEN, S.D. - The Northern State University Wrestling program and Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) are joining forces to promote the Bob Courtney Make-A-Wish Foundation Cancer Awareness Night, Thursday, February 4th during Northern State's wrestling dual with Dickinson State.


	#10 Vikings pin Wolves 34-3 01.30 \| Wrestling SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Northern State University wrestling team ran into a buzzsaw Saturday in the form of the no. 10 nationally ranked Augustana Vikings, falling to the home school by a 34-3 final score.


	Wolves 2-2 at UCM Duals 01.24 \| Wrestling WARRENSBURG, Mo. - The Northern State University wrestling squad closed out their action at the Central Missouri Dual Jamboree Sunday in Warrensburg, Mo. by finishing with a 2-2 record at the event.

#11 Peacocks spoil Wolves' upset bid

ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Upper Iowa University Peacocks looked every bit deserving of their no. 11 national ranking Sunday by defeating the Northern State University Wolves 24-10 in an NSIC Conference Dual at Wachs Arena.

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Due to the launch of a new Web site, Penn Atlantic is no longer hosting the familiar www.northernsun.tv site. To access upcoming Northern State University contests – including this weekend’s home wrestling duals against MSU Moorhead and Upper Iowa – Wolves fans can still log on to www.PennAtlantic.com to find those games.

Wolves wrestling to host youth tournament

ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Northern State University will hold a youth wrestling tournament on Sunday, Jan. 10 in NSU’s Barnett Center. Weigh-ins will be from 9-11 a.m., and the tournament will begin at approximately 12 pm.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Northern State University wrestling squad closed out their participation at the Midwest Classic in Indianapolis, Ind. with a 12th place finish, scoring 49.5 points. The meet was hosted by the University of Indianapolis.
