Jordan King
Men's Basketball
Jordan King (G, 6-0, 180, Jr., Arlington, S.D./Arlington HS) led an NSU comeback effort against the University of Mary with a career-high 16 points on Saturday despite playing just 17 minutes of the game.  King drained four of eight 3-point attempts, including several late treys to keep the Wolves in contention.  He was also a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line while dishing out five assists and coming up with one of the team’s three steals.

Women's Basketball
Emily  Becken notched her first double-double of the season with a 17-point, 11-assist effort in the Wolves' 76-65 win over the University of Mary.  Becken was one of four Wolves in double figures in scoring and one of three players to notch a double-double, marking the first time that has happened this season.  NSU has now won four straight games.

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Northern State University senior Mitch Boeck has been named as the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Player of the Week for his performances on the court over the weekend.  Boeck racked up 62 total points for the Wolves while leading the team to two straight road wins over Winona State on Friday and Upper Iowa on Saturday.

ABERDEEN, S.D. - No current Northern State University player had ever won in Winona State University's McCown Gymnasium. That all changed tonight. NSU senior Mitch Boeck scored 25 points, including a pair of game-clenching free throws with 5.8 seconds left in the game, to lead the Wolves to a monster 69-66 win over the host Warriors Friday night in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference men's basketball action.

ABERDEEN, S.D. - Northern State University senior men's basketball player Mitch Boeck has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VII Second Team. All-District selections were announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on Thursday. The honor is the first of his career.
